This is a authentic tea place to try out the many tea leaf types ranging from oolong, black, white and green tea whose origins come from China or Japan. It is run by a older Cantonese couple who do all of the serving of the tea. Each person orders a tea leaf type. The menu also contains small savory appetizer dishes, cookies or crackers to pair with the tea. Once you chose your tea, they serve the tea on a wooden panel. The serving is done in front of you to show you how the tea should be prepared for drinking. They will do the first pour and you can continue to refresh your tea drink using the same tea leaves with the provided hot water. Overall, it's a very relaxing experience and will also allow you to experience a bit of Chinese tea culture.

Amazing tea house restaurant! I would definitely come back here, a tea fanatic's dream tea house. They make there own unique mixes of tea when drinking there. They also sell tea leaves to bring home. Really nice and unique atmosphere but I was kinda scared to make any noise because of how tranquil it was in there.

It really is an experience like no other. We ordered the jasmine flower and green tea sets, as well some steamed buns. The couple who owns the establishment are very kind and eager to show you the art of tea drinking. The owner arrives at your table with your super cool tea drinking set, and proceeds to pour the hot water into a cup containing the tea leaves. This is then poured into a sieve and finally, you pour it into the drinking cup. The tea itself was very aromatic and light. I've never felt so tranquil and at ease. Sitting in front of a view of Old Montreal and sipping warm and fresh tea was one unforgettable experience.

For me this place seemed amazing and felt literally like home. Atmosphere, big selection of real delicious tea, huge pot of hot water to brew your tea, very delicious and small(i don't eat much) cheesecake, they even have a washroom there~ Staff explains how to enjoy your tea and shows it for you. Only downside was a dirty fork. But owners are elderly couple. And it's not like a piece of chocolate from previous customer can kill me. Place has only 3 or 4 tables and customers take at least an hour to finish their tea. So it might be a problem if all tables are occupied. But overall: great place! Wand to come back ~~

One of my favorite visits in Montreal. Careful, this place can turn you into a permanent tea drinker! It was a rather small place in terms of seating so it can fill up quick. Might get lucky to get the last table as most customers seem to sit there for a long time. The service was great and informative on the teas you order. They will show you how to use the set so you can continue drinking on your own. So many choices of tea and all so delicious!

Lots of options to choose from including medical teas. The owners are very friendly. We were massively impressed by the vegetarian chicken. I'm not a vegetarian and usually when I eat vegetarian dishes I feel like the meat is missing.... But they made an amazing meat substitute. The teas are lovely and served in beautiful teaware. They do it the traditional style where they pour the first pour over the serving ware to warm up first. Definitely a neat place to add to your tourist trip if you haven't been to China recently. (We are vacationing here)
